David Dufresne, author and director of interactive documentaries and artist-in-residence at the MIT Open Documentary Lab since September 2014, created the documentaries Hors Jeu (2016, Arte/Upian), DADA-DATA (2016, Arte/SRG SSR) and Fort McMoney (2013, Toxa/Arte/NFB). He is also co-director of the web documentary Prison Valley (with Philippe Brault, 2010, Upian/Arte).
David Dufresne also teaches at the Académie du journalisme et des médias of Université de Neuchâtel (Switzerland) and at the INIS in Montréal. In addition, he is a member of the advisory committee for the eXPlore section of Montréal’s Festival du nouveau cinéma.
